On February 24 2022, Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in an escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. The invasion is the largest conventional military attack in Europe since World War II. Putin’s aggression was met with worldwide condemnation with rallies, protests and peace marches taking place in cities across the globe.
